How BetIQ makes money

BetIQ earns referral commissions when you create a new account at a sportsbook through one of our links. This is standard practice for odds comparison sites and is how we fund the product while keeping it free to use.

What this does NOT affect

Our affiliate relationships have no influence on: the odds data we display (pulled directly from sportsbooks via API), which book shows the best line (we always show the actual best price), the model picks and edge calculations, or which promotions we rank highest (ranked by expected value, not commission rate). We show DraftKings as the top book because it has the best overall product, not because they pay the most.

Commission structure

We earn a CPA (cost per acquisition) when a new user signs up and places their first qualifying bet. We do not earn ongoing commissions from your losses. Our financial incentive is to help you sign up — after that, our interests are aligned with yours: we want you to have a good experience so you stay as a user.

Which links are affiliate links

Any link to a sportsbook on BetIQ is an affiliate link. They are not separately labeled because every single sportsbook link is affiliate — we do not run direct (non-affiliate) links to sportsbooks. If this is a problem for you, you can navigate to any sportsbook directly.
